I just bought a used 2004 Honda Element w/172000

I just bought a used 2004 honda element w/172000. What should I be looking for as far as a very faint noise/rattling coming from the front drivers area somewhere.I took it on the highway and did 70 and everything was tight and fine. I wondering if its the autostate box where they mounted it? Also what kind of oil do you think I should put in with 172000 miles?

Noise is something we can't help much because the possibilities are too vast for us to comment. You would need to localise the problem and try to find the source.

The recommended engine oil is 10w30 and I would stick with that.
