2004 Ford Crown Victoria gas smell

everytime i turn on the heater i smell gas ,but when i look under the hood i dont see any leaks

When you look under the hood can you smell anything? Your heater/hvac system should be sealed good enough that engine fumes can't get in the cabin area.

Did you check for proper fuel pressure? Will fuel pressure hold for a bit, with everything off? Check fuel lines--fuel injectors--evap system. Check fuel pressure regulator, where applicable.

Anybody else have any ideas?
