Why can't I can't get my truck to move when put into gear.

The truck starts just fine but when I put it into either reverse or drive it won't move at all.

sounds like your pressure plate collapsed! if that happens the clutch stays engaged just like you have the peddle mashed in. it wont move out of its tracks
