the trucks engine just cuts out when you are driving it is so random..but it seems like it may be happening when you are accelerating after a stop...but not always...maybe when it is shifting in to a different gear.?...not sure...but all you have to do is pull over and restart the engine...it fires right up again we have changed the speed sensor before but I cant remember if this is the way the truck was acting the last time....there is no warning lights on

no, a speed sensor would not cause this.

you need to have the fuel pressure checked. you also need to have a shop check for history codes that may have not turned on the light but stored a pending code. it may help in leading to the right direction of the failure.

AmberWilson,
What was the fix for your 2004 Chev. Suburban with the engine cutting out randomly when driving. I also have a 2004 Suburban with 165,000 miles on it, that is doing the same thing. I have had it to the shop a couple of times and the mechanic cannot get it to repeat the problem and they have no idea what the problem is. I appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks much.
