I am having 2 issues with a Colorado. First issue is that the flashers will not turn off. There is no flasher relay to pull and test. I am thinking it is a bad BCM but wanted advice from someone that knows more than me.

Second issue is that it says service 4wd on screen. The indicator lights are not on for the selector switches. There was no front drive shaft when I purchased it, so I put one in.

This truck has been a pain for me, but I need to get it working again. Thanks.

It does sound like a bcm issue and that is a common issue on your particular truck. But you can't rule out the multifunction switch or a bad ground. Are there any b codes in history or pending codes? Any check engine light on?

I would suspect that you have water intrusion in the bcm. It is a very common issue on that vehicle. If you have electric door locks, do they work? Does everthing in the cluster work?

Instrument cluster is all working. Door Locks and windows are manual. The service 4wd light is on. I thought this was because the front drive shaft was not in the vehicle when I bought it. I have since put one in but it is still lit even after codes are reset.

I think you better take this one in for a diagnosis.
