Noisy when turning power steering wheel

My 2003 saturn vue v6 all wheel drive make noise when turning the steering wheel like if it is low on power steering fluid, but I can not find the power steering pump and I read that it is electric. What should I do.

You have a electric motor on your steering column that give's you power steering.I have seen two common thing's cause a noise while steering left or right the boot at the base of the steering column inside the cabin making noise against the steering shaft as you turn the wheel. Also the upper strut bearing bushing making a rubbing noise.
