The Gages in my Saturn Vue are acting up and the power locks and inside lights.

The VUE will start and run ok but the gages will move up when ur driveing than all the gages will drop to zero and the power steering is a eletirc and it will be off and hard to turn but car still runin. Be driving down the road and it be fine one minit than gages will start messing up and go to zeros.I was thinking maybe its the ECU computer brain has a short in it? I dont no really haven`t took it to shop to get check out bc didnt want to spend much money on it so wounder it you guys would no?

Just to add to this one have the body control module scanned for codes sounds like a bad body control module.I have replaced a lot of them for those symptoms. Do the door locks cycle on and off while driving down the road?When the body control module goes bad the bcm never sets codes. You may have set a U1000 code in the ecm though.

Yeah that sounds like a bad body control module I have replaced a lot of them for those reasons. Keep me posted on the body control module codes etc.
