2003 Saturn L3 V6 fule problem

Can leaking fuel injectors cause fuel to collect in the intake runners of a 2003 saturn v6? When I pull the runners off it has fuel running out. Car will only run when throttle is held open to burn the excess fuel.

Yes, that is one way for fuel to collect in the intake. A ruptured regulator is another way. The best way to look for these problems is with a fuel pressure gauge, watching to see if the rest pressure leaks down.
