The check engine light and the wrench came on our 03 saturn L300. It would periodically shift hard. Took into shop and they said code 1811 came up and there was a service bulletin on it. if saturn was aware of this but did not do a recall is there anyway that we can go back on GM for cost of repairs Appx $1300.00? I understand saturn is no longer but it appears they knew this was a problem.
