The security only effects the starter and fuel doe it start? Its usually a bad ignition switch I have replaced tons of them for that. There easy to change and they have them on amazon for under 30.

No it doesnt start Saturn told me the ignition switch has a chip in it that tripped the security so it won't start cuz we took the ignition switch out to move it due to no key. I had a key made through the dealership the car started the night before it got towed in had to change the back timing chain and cover

So does the ignition cylinder work now with the key and the ignition switch is reinstalled? The ignition key has to turn the switch not a screwdriver or it won't start. So the timing chain was replaced? If the switch and ignition key is working like it should we can relearn the pass lock sensor in the ignition switch.
