JUST BOUGHT A SECOND HAND CAR HAD IT TWO WEEKS ...

Just bought a second hand car had it two weeks then it conked out. When starting ignition it starts up but no revs. It only coasts over road. Also abs light on. Battery light on (just fitted new battery but no change) and sometimes oil light on but oil has been checked. Please help!

Charge light showing indicates the alternator is not charging and not a faulty battery. You need to test the alternator. Nion charging can cause driving/preformance related problems and this should be rectified first.
