I did a head-job on a Spyder V6...everything is in and tight. I do have my reservations about the distributor and I hope that I put it in correctly since the thing only fits in one way...anyways. I would like to set the Basic Timing ( because the car is running a little ruff) but the manual is so vague. Is there a way to adjust the timing on these cars? do you have to ground out a connector? Any help would be appreciated

Mit1 has no specific procedures to checking the ignition timing -whether to ground out a connector or disconnect a wire before you time the engine-Hook up a timing light and check if the timing is within specs/in range-see below-Sorry
