Ok, my 2003 Honda CRV's "D" light started blinking after I went over some elevated snow and then put it in park, what does that mean?

When the D indicator starts to blink, it indicates an error was detected in the system.

You need to retrieve the trouble codes to find out what triggerred the D indicator to blink.

Ok ran the codes and got a 3rd Gear Pressure Switch code. Honda said it was 250 bucks to fix. Is this a good price?

Ran the codes and got a 3rd Gear Pressure Switch malfunction. The car is shifting in "safe" mode so not to hurt the transmission. Honda said it was $250 bucks to fix. Every other transimission place wants to rescan it ($50-100), then spend a couple of hours "playing" with it? Should I just bite the bullet and take it to Honda?

I need to know the exact trouble code to understand the problem better.

Of course Honda is in the best position to solve the problem but where transmission controls are concerned, there are no guaranteed fix by replacing solenoids and switches.

Most parts stores provides free scanning services. Get them to reset the code and see if problem goes away. Some intermittent problems are due to extremem cold or loose wire connections.
Check the pressure switch wire connectors and ensure it is clean and secure and has no leakages.
