When I turn left or right, I hear and feel a pop!
It seems to be coming from the left front.
I have a 2003 ford ranger 4x4-fx4.
What do you think the problem is??
Hope you can help.

The most logical guess is a load-carrying ball joint. Noises and handling problems on Fords must never be ignored. Those are all-too-common signs that a steering or suspension part is about to separate leading to loss of control and a crash. The best approach is to have it inspected at a tire and alignment shop immediately. That should be done anyway once a year.
