I bought a 2003 Ford Mustang Coupe S281 Saleen Supercharged car with 5700 miles from Paul Sevag Motors in West Chester PA. They said they put a new battery in the car and the emissions setting needed to reset. A week later I attempted to get the car inspected at a Ford dealer. He said the computer wasn't set yet and we needed to drive it more. A day later the service required light came on. Is there something wrong with this car? Is it possible Savag knew this and that is why it is not inspected yet?

First go to an AutoZone or similar and have codes read then post. Did car come with warranty? Did you get a CarFax report?

06/07/11 I had the codes read. There was a problem with the catalytic converters. Paul Savag (Paul Savag Motors) sent someone to my home to retrieve the vehicle, had a custome high performance shop replace the catalytic converters, then Paul's shop inspected and drove the car to insure there were no codes or problems. Paul had the vehicle delivered to my house. I would highly recommend Paul Savog Motors in West Chester PA to anyone looking for guaranteed reliable, trusting sale, service, and follow up treatment when shopping for specific low mileage used vehicles.
