Hello plz help

My check engine light came on in my 2003 dodge neon se and then the next light I lost reverse! It shifts into reverse easily just doesnt go anywhere after that! What could be wrong? Could it be the transmissions selinoid?

It could have to do with the trans control module. You need to have the computer scanned to identify what the trouble code is that set the light. From there, you should be able to identify the problem.
