Have 2003 chrysler town and country and the ignition won't turn. Has been sticking lately but always moved after a little jiggling - how do I fix it? Car is parked in garage and wheels are straight. Has been sticking some, but always turns after jiggling for a few seconds.

Please help!

Sounds like a worn key or worn cylinder or both. Does the key look worn down?If so do you have a spare key that doesnt look worn down to try?

I have a spare key - can't tell a difference in wear between the two keys and neither work.

Any suggestions to get me through till Monday?

Yes insert the key and lightly tap on the end of the key with a hammer then try turning the key. If that doesnt work then remove the key then lightly tap on the key opening with a hammer then try turn the key. Even if it turns there is no telling if it will get you thru the weekend. If it turns I would replace the cylinder right away. Because to repair it without the key turning will cost a lot more. Are you handy with tools?

Hammer tap worked - thanks! Any advice on the repair? Not a mechanic but with guidance I can usually take care of things. Where do I get the part and how do I remove the cylinder?

I posted how to replace the cylider I would key it to match the key you have now so you only have one key instead of two. Let me know how it goes.
