Hey guys, I’m going crazy with my 6.0! It’s randomly going into limp mode, constantly when I need it most! The wires had been touched before, had a mechanic fix them and it worked great for several months, came back recently and I’ve changed the petal and throttle body. It’s currently putting out one code

CRAFTSMAN®
DIC
P2135
Generic
1/2
Current
Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A / B
Voltage Correlation
DaD= Code Reader

Like I said, new pedal and throttle body, I’m wondering if it’s a computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

This code is specific to the throttle control system, which I believe you already know. We have two issues to overcome. First, the problem (based on your description) is intermittent. That means testing needs to occur when the problem is present. Second, there isn't one specific wire or component that the code indicates. Instead, it provides diagnostics which include testing of wiring, circuits, and connectors.

So, I have attached the diagnostics below. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them. Additionally, let me know if you need anything or things other than what is listed.

Let me know if you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Thank you very much for the information. We recently got hit by an ice storm and I have yet to try the tips out.

Hi,

No problem whatsoever. Ice is not a good thing when it's coming from the sky and landing on the roads. LOL

When you have a chance, let me know what you find or what I can do to help.

Take care,

Joe
