Car smoking when driving looked like oil all over exhaust on driver side thought it was power steering fluid but turned stirring wheel saw no leak. Was very cold today when this happened. What could this be. Oil down a little on dip stick. Frustrated.

You need to locate where the oil is coming from. If it is on the exhause up higher, chances are it is a valve cover gasket. If it is down low, check the oil pan for leaks. Also, make sure the trans pan isn't leaking.
