Knocking coming from near oil pan drain plug

Loud knocking coming from the area above, the oil was changed last week and the problem started last night and it is very loud. What ever is causing the noise is definetly in this area as the noise is much louder underneth then up top. Thank you.

You may need to pull the oil pan and take a look. Metal in the oil pan, isn't a good sign. Is the oil level ok? How is the oil pressure? I wouldn't drive it till you find out what is going on.
