Is it correct to assume that if the car starts and runs the MAF is working, and what area do I clean with electrical cleaner? I am still trying to diagnose the PO 300 code-

If it is running okay, the MAF should be fine. It can be checked with an OBD2 scanner that can read live info. As far as cleaning, remove the MAF from the intake unit and clean it off with the proper cleaner.
