Head gasket

2002 SUBARU OUTBACK
144,000 MILES • 4 CYL • AWD • AUTOMATIC

enter your question...2002 Outback, 144K, indy shop says "leaking head gasket". was fix once under warantee @ 87K. had coolant flush/replace @ 133K but probably not Subie coolant. would that cause new leaking now @only 144K? can we drive it?

I would be thinking that it will be a problem with the finish on the cylinder head, these are very critical and as Subaru use steel gaskets, any incorrect coolant may be a problem, i would not be driving it as the chances of doing further damage will increase.
