I have a yellowish oily goo in my coolant system, hoses, radiator, etc. I am losing oil with no visible leaks. Oil is obviously getting into the coolant. The vehicle has never over-heated. What are the possible problems? Thank you, Danny

You didn't list an engine size but if you have the V6, they have a known problem with the oil cooler leaking.

That's why I was asking if the engine was a 3.0L the next thing I was going to say was the oil cooler leaks oil into the coolant. Same with the caddy catera with the same engine.

The oil cooler is submerged into a coolant jacket. So when it leaks it goes right into the coolant.
