I replace the valve body and everything worked fine for about a thousand then all the sudden transmission slammed into reverse the same way it had before but harder so I replace the valve body again and now I have no way to move the car with her I put it in reverse drive first second third it doesn't go anywhere it just sits there like its in neutral you can move the RPM's as high as you can't want and it won't move could it be an electrical

So your alternator is charging? Are you sure you hooked the linkage rod back up the manual valve on the valve body?I have seen the input shaft nuts loosen up and cause a delay slam in reverse and or loss of reverse. But sounds like you may have caused the no foward or reverse from this last valve body change. Where did you get these valve body's from?

Valve body I purchased from all parts pro. Yes the linkage bar is connected the alternator is charging. The first valve body I put in work perfectly fine then I pulled into the driveway left the car running in park got back and put it in reverse and it slammed harder than ever did before. Would still go into reverse then the next morning wouldn't go into reverse unless my foot was on the break and I got the gas. So I figured it was the valve body and called the company and they sent me another. I installed the new valve body and still no reverse. So I drained the transmission and opened up the side where the input shaft nut is located thinking maybe it came loose but the nut was not loose. So I put a new gasket back on put the cover shield back on started the car up tried to move and it wouldn't go anywhere in any gear check the valve body again nothing was wrong nothing was missing everything was hooked up so now I was thinking and has to be electrical there was no metal shavings in the transmission fluid no grinding.

If its not moving at all you could have lost the transmission line pressure. But without a gauge its hard to tell. So when you put it in drive etc can you hear the actuators in the valve body buzzing?

No buzzing from what I can tell I really don't think it has anything to do with the valve body since it would go into 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th without any problems except for the reverse going out until I went and looked at the input shaft nut now the car wont go anywhere at all. After I install the second valve body is still didn't have reverse but I could still go in all the other for gears. Could be the computer for the transmission?

So you had all the forward gears till you removed the end cover to see if the input shaft nut was loose then you lost the forward gears?

Thats what happened then to the forward gears so replacing the valve body wouldn't help when you caused a new problem when you put the end cover back on. So when you reinstalled the end cover was it hard to slide it all the way on to get it flush? If so how did you get it to sit flush? Also how did you determine the input shaft nut wasn't loose? Also how did you determine which one was the input shaft nut?

For your first question yes it was a tad bit difficult but by taking my time and not forcing it to go in the hole I got it to gently slide in and sit flush making sure not to bend either rod that goes through the input shaft nut and the other gear. For final question I already done it before so I knew which one was the input shaft nut it's not too difficult to see which ones the input shaft nut considering it's right there in your face when you open it up

The trick is when you put the side cover on you put the transmission in drive then spin the drivers side rotor while sliding the side cover on. Then the side cover will go on so if you had forward gears before removing the side cover then I would think something went wrong when you took it off and put it back on. Also do you have any codes in the computer?

No there are no codes popping up from the computer. The only code that have popped up before work for the solenoids before I did the valve body change.

On the back side of the inside fuse box there is a 68way connector the one closest to the front of car. The big red wire feeds power to the actuators over time the terminal opens up causing all kinds of issues. But if you had forward gears before removing the side cover then I woukd think something went wrong in that process. Did you ever air check the clutch packs or do a line pressure test on the transmission?
