My boyfriend accidentally hooked up the jumper cables backwards for just a couple of seconds and now the car won't turn start, it just sits there and cranks. Is there an inline fuse somewhere that needs to be replaced. He has checked all the other fuses and they are ok but the owner's manual says something about the inline fuse.

The only inline fuse I can think of on that car is for the alternator which if blown wouldn't keep the car from starting. So you checked the ecm fuse injector fuse's every fuse inside the car and the engine compartment?
