My saturn sl1 has started a bucking action when accelerating. It started it out of know where 2 days ago, until then know problems. It does not miss and seems to be shifting fine. It does have the service engin light on and has been on for over a year and ran without an issue. Computer check at autozone just said bad o2 sensor when they checked it then. Weve looked at different sites they say bad egr sensor but that wasnt it. Any ideas what it could be?

Just to add to this one is the bucking worse with the ac on?I would check the plugs and wires. Make sure you dont have platnuim plugs in the engine those carbon foul in those engines and cause misses etc.

Saturntech9 thanks for your reply. Plugs and wires were my 1st guess. Changed them and the car runs like new and the servic engine light went off for a little bit, but came back on when it got colder. Suspect its the o2 sensor! No ac running this time of year its freezing here!
