I'm having trouble changing the engine air filter on my Saturn L300 which is located on the left side of the engine. I can't seam to get the engine air filter cover off to replace the air filter.
Can you give me a step by step way to do this?
Thanks

There easy you just unplug the mass air flow sensor loosen the clamp on the throttle body on that year you have to move a side the canister purge solenoid as well. Then unsnap the the hold down clips then pull the inlet tube off the throttle body unhook the back half of the air box. Remove the lid and and change the air filter.

The air filter housing lid is usually held down by two to four Torx screws or Phillips head screws. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
