My check engine light was on. So I have it read and the code said P0340 which is telling me that the camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. What sould I do to repair this problem?

Follow the trouble tree for that code. Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?If you clear the code will it reset within 30 seconds?If not how long does it it take to reset the code?
