Have to replace the pcm, how much is that going to cost?

Check engine light was on. They ran diagnostics and there were no trouble codes assigned to the car. The car will only start if the engine is reved at initial start. If its not then has to sit for at least 30 minutes then try again. They checked everything and came back with I need to go to a Nissan dealer and have the PCM replaced.

I would check wiring to the PCM, the wiring harness, and then consider the PCM it that is all that is left.

If you go to a dealer, it will cost a lot more. I'm sure other mechanics can install a PCM. I need the engine size to get an aprox price. However, I would est around 300 for the part + an hour labor to install
