headlights would not come on only every now and then so i replace the hid's i had with regular headlight bulbs and the headlights come on now but no dash, tail or blinker lights come on, checked the fuses under the hood and couldn't get the indicator to light up on the two 20A fuses for the lights even after i swapped them out. when the lights did come on with the hid's everything came on but with the bulbs only the headlights come on.

You would need a testlight or DVOM to proceed with testing. A fuse seems to be blown somewhere or a connections is bad.
It could be a faulty light switch as well.
