I had just filled up my tank with gas went to the store about an hour. Was going on and was at a stoplight on top hill, I don't ride clutch just brake and neterual , so when the light switched to green I switched first gear and start hitting gas, it shook like I killed it.. So I tried a couple times and nope start. It turns over but doesn't want to start. Couple people told me it's a broken timing belt & might have engine interference . We toke the shell off and The belt isn't completley broken just a couple of teeth a loose(teeth are starting to tear off) but not all broken.

Would this still be engine interferce
I'm a 20yr girl not knowing much about cars please give me some opinions

Yes, that is a interference engine and there is a high possibility of bent valves because it jumped time but you aren't going to know for sure until you put a new belt on it and do a leakdown test.
