Some times car starts and shuts off fine. On other occasions, about 50% of the time, car does not seem to recogniize key. After a couple of tries, key recognized and car starts fine. Also when shutting off, Mil light, key light, low fule light and interior dome light stay on after key removed. After inserting key and trying top start once or twice, can remove key with no lights left on. Have replaced ignition switch and still have same trouble. Any suggestions? Couls key transponder be bad? Does transponder ring on ignition cylinder need replacement? Can this be replaced with a transponder ring from another CRV and not need programming?

All trasnponders haveto be reprogrammed when replaced. But check to make sure your vehicle battery is in good shape and all grounds are clean, both at battery and engine to body, eng tobat and body to bat
