Unintentional Deceleration

I have a 2002 Honda CRV that while on the freeway will intermittently decelerate to the point thyat I have to pull off the freeway. If I let it idle for a while, I can get back on the road and it will not come back. Sometime there will be several episodes before it goes away. Not sure whether it is engine or transmission related

If it is trans related, the engine should still rev. If the engine dies out, then I would start by checking fuel pump pressure unless the check engine light has come on. IF that is the case, have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. Let me know what you find.
