I have a 02 Ford Explorer and my antifreeze is backing up in the overflow bowl. I have changed the cooling temperature sensor, thermostat and thermostat housing case. Tell me what can I do to fix it?

The antifreeze keep backing up in the overflow bowl and it seems that the antifreeze is not running through the engine. Can you please provide some assistance.

Thanks

Have you tried flushing lines/hoses or blowing air thru them?

It's also slightly possible the water pump is defective.

If the water pump is defective, wouldn't it leak?

Usually yes but if impeller is loose or broken that may not be the case. Like I said, it's a slight possibility if clearing lines shows no change. When did this problem start? Any recent work done before hand? Any stoppage anywhere in cooling system might cause this symptom. Smaller hoses would be more likely to clog.
