I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7L V-8 4x4 and I have to replace the downflow oxygen sensor. Where exactly does it plug it?
I am an amature and decided to save some money I would replace the spark plugs, air filter and the oxygen sensor that was reported bad.

The wires from the O2 sensors are only about 10" long and they end in the plug. It will be clipped to the body near the sensor. In some years the wires went through the body into the cab so the connector was protected from water and dirt.
