I am having problems with my 4.7 motor having eratic idle at times the error code is saying it is a power train conrol module problem how hard is this to replace and fix and how expensive

Conditions for setting code not available from manufacture. So either take to dealer or replace PCM

Located engine compartment right fender well and yes ex pensive @$700
