engine cross reference

Will the 1997 3.5 liter motor out of a crysler LHS fit in a 2002 3.5 liter dodge intrepid I have an 02 intrepid with a bad 3.5 can I pull the motor from a 97 LSH wich is also 3.5

You should be able to, but a junkyard or dealership will have a better cross reference than us.
