2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer engine

Start the truck check engine light comes on also reduced power light and service light comes on sometimes the engine will run at reduced power sometimes the engine starts but it won't react to the acc. Pedal I thoght the trans. Was bad but the trans. S hop said it wasn'ttrans but they dont know problem. Maybe broke wire.

The first step is to have it scanned for any and all codes stored in computer memory. Both hard and soft codes. Without that information, we can't go very far. That's the first thing the shop should have done. I would be leaning towards a blocked catalytic converter with the "reduced power" information, but can't be sure without knowing active codes.
