I need to know the amperage of the alternator please?

The 130amp alternator has a 5 and 3/4" diameter case and the 105amp alternator has a 5 and 3/8" diameter case. Or you can call the chevy dealer give them the last 8 of the vin and they can let you know which one you have. Also sometimes there is a amps marked on the alternator.

There's no Chevy dealer in my country. Was hoping you can tell from the VIN.

Look on your alternator if its delphi it will be a AD230 which is the smaller one. The delphi AD244 is the 130amp one or the bosch one 15755900 is the 130 amp one. Let me know what numbers your alternator has on it.
