Service engine light came on, Said #8 & #1 spark fouling, Dealer said I needed new coil packs, Replaced coil packs and plugs and plug boots, Light will not go off, Have tried unhooking battery cables for 30 minutes, how do you get that damn light to go OFF?HELP.

You need to push off and warmer buttons on the a/c panel.U will see the codes on the fuel panel. Then push off and high fan buttons when u see all segments lit release and then push oFF and low fan buttions when u see all segments lit release. The codes are clear now. Hit the auto button twice and then itll jump out. Recheck the codes any current codes wont erace. In the future if unsure about the computer. Google cadillac obd1 codes. That will tell u how to use your computer. Gl
