I bought a 2002 Cadillac Deville new.I found that it burned a quart of oil about never 1200 miles. I coplained to the dealer no response I now have 73,000 miles on it. I now must add oil every 700 mile and the oil is dark brown. The dealer still shrugs off my concerns What gives?

Cadillac says that 1qt every 2,000 miles is acceptable, they have came out with a new process having to do something with a ring cleaning process to address this problem, it is detailed in technical service bulletin #02-06-01-009B, worth checking out.
