2001 Toyota Avalon engine light

I changed my o2 sensor near the firewall and disconnected the battery for about 4 min. I started the car and it stayed off until I put it in gear. Any ideas wha tI should do?

Have the codes cleared at most autoparts stores with a scan tool.

Let us know if code comes back. Also check the O2 install, especially the wiring connector. Make sure it is not coming in contact with moving parts.
