Had a evap code. After clearing code monitors are coming back up slowly. C, E and EV were all not up after 300 miles of driving. Many cold starts with various trip lengths. Then C and E finally came back up now EV is still not up. No trouble codes are present.

So is the evap the only one that hs set yet?On a cold start have you let the car idle for 2-3 mins without putting it into gear or touching the gas?

Yes the car is driven by my wife and is warmed up almost daily before driving. The EV monitor finally came up after 450 miles. Now there is a p0440 code.

Have you looked at the gas for the seal being cracked?

Someone suggested I check the EGR valve because it took so long for the egr monitor to come up. Could that cause p0440 code?

You mean it took so long for the egr monitor to set?I have never seen a egr issue cause a evap code to set on that car. There two different systems have you had a smoke test or nitrogen leak test done yet on the car? Also checked and seen what the fuel pressure sensor is reading on a scan tool with the gas cap off?

It took 450 miles for the E light to stop blinking on the scan tool. Haven"t had test done yet I guess that will come after a good visual of the system. Thanks

Everything looked to be in order. Unplugged and inspected electrical connections, visually inspected hoses. Cleared code waiting for monitors. If it doesn't operate correctly it's of to a professional.
