Ran the code checker at advance auto, and it said the sensor. Changed it, ran fine for a few days now its starting to act up again. Codes still saying the same sensor. Is it more likely that they sold me a bad sensor or there is another problem?

I would recommend checking the wiring to the sensor for damage. Also, make sure the connections are clean of corrosion. If everything looks good, then switch the sensor to see if that fixes it.
