There should be a lip or collar, about an inch and a half in diameter around the hub. There's a special tool to hook on that lip, then a bolt is run down the center to push the pump's shaft out of the hub. You have to watch how far the pulley is pressed on now, and set it the same depth on the new pump. 1/16" misalignment can set up a nasty belt squeal.
