CAN THE TRANNY OIL PUMP GO BAD? HOW DO I CHECK THE PRESSURE?

I HAVE CHANGED THE SOLENOID PACK AND TRANS RANGE SENSOR THE CAR SHIFTS INTO GEAR STRONG AND THEN THERES A LOST OF GEAR GIVE IT GAS AND GRABS AGAIN IM THINKING OIL PUMP.

I bet it is the front clutch piston having a bad seal. There would be no engagement if the pump was bad.

Does it go into reverse?

YES IT DOES BUT DOES THE SAME WHEN ITS COLD GRAB GOOD AS IT WARMS UP IT WILL GRAB AND LOSE.

You have an internal failure that will rewuire removal and most likely an overhaul.

There are many ports on the trans to check various pressures. You need gauges and a manual to identify each tap point. It will most likely confirm internal failure.
