2001 Mercury Cougar sunroof

Something broke in the tracks I push the open/close button and I can see a plastic piece moving back and forth and both side have a small crack on them. And that rectangle part on the glass side is missing one. Any idea's on just getting it closed for now

If your saying the window glass is crooked, try holding the glass in the proper position with your hands, while somebody else operates the window control.

If I misunderstood your post, you'll have to straighten me out? If the problem is anything else, I'd probably have to look at it.
