GMC 1500 HD electrical problem

I have a 2001 GMC 1500 HD 4x4 that is having electrical problems. It will shut down everything for no reason. I will jump it and it runs fine for a while then it will just shut everything down again. It is happening more frequently now, what could be wrong?

Why do you have to jump it, is battery down? Have the battery and charging system tested. Any applicable trouble codes?

It could be any one of several things, intermittent rpm signal, maybe the ignition switch has a problem? You have to test when problem is ongoing.

You swich had to comunicat with the safey wair in tare so start there and reset the key set to on with out starting 10 min;s security lamp go out then turn off 10 sec. Repeat 3 times. Shoud reset.
