MY BATTERY LIGHT STAYS ON. ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY HAVE BEEN REPLACED. CAR WILL DRIVE BUT NOW IS DYING OUT OR WILL NOT START. BATTERY RE TESTED AND SHOWS A GOOD SIGN WHEN THEY TEST THE BATTERY. BATTERY LIGHT WAS NOT ON BUT ONCE NEW ALTERNATOR WAS PUT IN BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYS ON NOW, ALSO WANTS TO DIE OUT NOW. SOMETIMES PUTTERS AS WELL

Get the battery fully charged also do you have a multimeter to do some testing?Why diod you change the alternator?Same reason battery going dead?

Yes the battery was going dead took alternator to be tested came back that it was bad. So I had it replaced. Battery was fully charged and tested reads high. Yes I have a multimeter what kind of testng should I do?

Alright at idle what is the voltage reading at the battery?

Also see if the three red wires going to the alternator have battery voltage to them?
