Engine code said bad crankshaft sensor
2001 DODGE RAM
Engine code said bad crankshaft sensor. Replaced with new sensor, engine runs worse than before and sounds like its out of time. Any ideas?

Fault codes never say to replace parts. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis.
Was there a thick paper spacer on the end of the new crankshaft position sensor? When you have an engine problem please list the engine size. What does "worse" mean? What are the exact symptoms?
